The Korean pop group ATEEZ has secured the top position in Malaysia at the 10th TOP TEN AWARDS (TTA), a prestigious event where the ‘best global artists’ are selected through competition. The TTA, organized by Ten Asia, involves K-pop fans from ten regions including Korea, the USA, the UK, Mexico, China, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, who vote online and through mobile to determine the top artists.
ATEEZ recently released their second full album, “THE WORLD EP FIN : WILL,” which set a new personal record by selling 910,000 copies on its first day, according to Hanteo Chart. This achievement placed them at the top of various album charts, including the Hanteo Chart real-time physical album chart, Bugs daily album chart, and Japan’s Line Music real-time album chart, showcasing their strong international presence.
Moreover, ATEEZ has consistently made their mark on the Billboard World Album Chart with their debut album “TREASURE EP 1 : All To Zero,” as well as subsequent releases “TREASURE EP 2 : Zero To One,” and “TREASURE EP 3 : One To All.” The preliminary voting for the TTA took place from August 29 to September 11 in ten countries, including Korea, the USA, China, Japan, the UK, Indonesia, Thailand, Mexico, Malaysia, and the Philippines, followed by the final round of voting from September 13 to September 26. Other winners in the TTA included EXO from the USA, Kang Daniel from Korea, Super Junior from China, ASTRO from Mexico, and NCT Dream from Thailand. ENHYPEN achieved a triple crown by topping the charts in Japan, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
