BTS, 100 million views in 21 hours of ‘Butter’ MV… Global hit starts

The music video for ‘Butter’ of the group BTS broke the 100 million views in 21 hours and made a new history.  
BTS’ new digital single ‘Butter’ music video, which was simultaneously released to the world at 1 pm on the 21st (hereinafter Korean time), has exceeded 100 million views on YouTube at 9:56 am on the 22nd. YouTube said through its official blog, “The ‘Butter’ music video reached the highest number of simultaneous viewers of 3.9 million at the time of its first release, achieving the highest number of YouTube premier music videos ever viewed.”  BTS broke the record for the maximum number of simultaneous users of 3 million, which was established at the time of the first release of ‘Dynamite’, and at the same time held the 1st and 2nd highest YouTube premier music video viewing record, proving the status of the ’21st century pop icon’. The music video for ‘Butter’ exceeded 10 million views in 13 minutes after it was released.
