BTS, 3 consecutive years of Grammy Awards failed [65th Grammy]


At the 65th Grammy Awards held at the Arena in Los Angeles, USA on the 6th (Korean time), the group BTS unfortunately failed to win any award.

On this day, BTS was nominated for the ‘Best Music Video’ category with ‘Yet to Come’ from the album ‘Proof’ released last year, and the ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ category for ‘My Universe’ with Coldplay, but failed to win.  The ‘Best Music Video’ category where BTS failed to win, Swift’s ‘All to Well’, Sam Smith and Kim Petra’s ‘Unholy’ in the ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ category, and ‘Album of the Year’ in the category. Harry Styles’ ‘Harris House’ were honored with the award. 

Pop singer Beyoncé lifts the trophy that broke the record for the most awards at the 65th Grammy Awards held at the Arena in Los Angeles, USA on the 6th (Korean time). 

Although they failed to win the award, BTS was already the first K-pop singer to be nominated for two Grammy Awards through ‘Dynamite’ and ‘Butter’, and then they were nominated for another Grammy Award, becoming the first K-pop singer for three years in a row, three times in a row. It left a record of being nominated for the category. 

In addition, at the awards ceremony on this day, Beyonce won a total of 4 crowns and lifted the Gramophone (Grammy Awards trophy) for the 32nd time, breaking the record for the most awards, and was reborn as the ‘Queen of the Grammys’.
