BTS’s V, also known as Kim Taehyung, is making waves with his solo album ‘Lay Over.’ The album has achieved significant success on international charts, solidifying his global popularity.

In Greece, ‘Lay Over’ has secured the 3rd position on the IFPI (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry) album chart for three consecutive weeks. Meanwhile, in the UK, V’s album has become the first K-pop soloist’s album to consistently appear on the album download chart for four weeks. The title track, ‘Slow Dancing,’ has also been performing well, maintaining a spot within the top 20 on the official single download chart and single sales chart for four consecutive weeks.

Upon its release on September 8, ‘Lay Over’ achieved remarkable success in the UK, with the album and title track both reaching the number one position on the official album download chart and official single sales chart, respectively. V made history as the first K-pop soloist to simultaneously top three UK charts, earning him the ‘UK Chart Specialist Awards.’

Furthermore, ‘Love Me Again,’ one of the album’s tracks, saw its music video become the first by a K-pop artist to reach number one on the ‘Tidal UK Top Videos’ chart and the Apple Music UK video chart, further showcasing V’s popularity in the UK.
