JYP Entertainment and group ITZY presented a special time to an overseas child patients.
In June 2019, JYP signed an MOU with Make-A-Wish Korea for social contribution projects, and continues a project and representative CSR activity ‘EDM (Every Dream Matters!)’.
Recently, one overseas child patient shared her precious dream to JYP, and ITZY made a surprise transformation into Santa before Christmas and made her wish come true.
Her wish to meet ITZY, who gave her confidence in fighting the disease, was passed on to JYP through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and a dream-like meeting with ITZY was accomplished.
In this meeting, which was held non-face-to-face (online video call) due to COVID-19, ITZY took time to sincerely answer the questions Mia always wondered about the members.
Mia Seligman said, “I am very happy that my wish to meet ITZY came true.”
ITZY said, “We wanted to make time for Mia to laugh, but we got a lot of energy thanks to Mia.”
Meanwhile, ITZY performed a special performance at the ‘2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards’ held on the 11th and showed off their ‘K-Performance Queen’ aspect.
