NewJeans broke another record on Spotify.
According to the latest weekly chart released by Spotify on the 10th, NewJeans recorded 8,812,913 listeners in monthly listeners counted over the past 28 days. This is the largest number of monthly listeners for a 4th generation K-pop group.
In addition, their debut song ‘Attention’ was ranked 36th on Spotify’s ‘Today’s Top Hits’ playlist on the 10th.
‘Attention’ entered #200 on the ‘Weekly Top Songs USA’ (aggregation period, September 2-8) chart released on the 9th.
After making their debut song the first K-pop girl group to enter the ‘Daily Top Songs USA’ chart, NewJeans set a new record for making the first debut song in the chart for a K-pop group on the weekly.
After 50 days of debut, they are writing a new history in both boy and girl groups with a terrifying momentum.
‘Attention’ was listed on a total of 17 ‘Weekly Top Songs’ charts including the US, global, Korea, Japan, Canada, and Australia, while ‘Hype Boy’ and ‘Cookie’ were on 14 charts and 6 charts, respectively.
It was ranked and proved that all the triple title songs of New Jeans’ debut album are receiving great love.
