‘President’s Special Envoy’ BTS to appear at UN

At the opening ceremony of the SDG Moment, a special event of the 76th UN General Assembly, held at the UN General Assembly, BTS said, “The current teens and 20s are not the ‘Lost Generation’ who lost their way due to COVID-19. Rather, it is a ‘Welcome Generation’ that moves forward.” BTS emphasizes the positive message that the young generation of the world has not lost all their daily life due to the pandemic, but is moving forward with a new daily life without fear of change.

After the speech was over, a video of BTS’ ‘Permission to Dance’ performance in the UN General Assembly was also shown at the event, which was broadcast live on UN YouTube, etc.

BTS, who was appointed as the ‘Presidential Special Envoy for Future Generation and Culture’, attended the UN ‘SDG Moment’ event on the 20th. 
The group BTS, appointed as President Moon Jae-in’s special envoy, departed on the 18th to attend the 76th UN General Assembly. On the 14th, BTS was appointed as the “Presidential Special Envoy for Future Generation and Culture”. RM said, “Besides music and dance, we have always been thinking about how we can repay the love we have received and give back a lot, and the president gave us such a great opportunity,” he said. 
Diplomatic passports and souvenirs of BTS members are placed at the award ceremony for the presidential special envoy for future generation and culture held at the Blue House on the 14th.
