Singer PSY revealed his feelings about the hit of ‘Gangnam Style’.
PSY said in an interview with the New York Times on the 25th (local time), “The success of ‘Gangnam Style’ kept running around in my head.” He confessed, “The global success of ‘Gangnam Style’ 10 years ago actually bothered me.”
Regarding the reason for the success of ‘Gangnam Style’, PSY said, “The person who made the song, the person who danced it, and the person who performed it were all the same, but I still don’t know why that one song (Gangnam Style) was special.” he replied.
PSY said, “I learned to live without obsessing over the global fame I gained with ‘Gangnam Style. It would be great if more good songs come out and that kind of thing (a global hit) happens again, but it doesn’t matter if it doesn’t happen anymore.”
