The girl group Purple Kiss (members Na Go-eun, Dosie, Ireh, Yuki, Chaein, Swan) held their first fan concert, titled ‘PURPLE KISS 2024 FAN CONCERT ‘FESTA’’, on January 7th in the SAC Art Hall in Gangnam, Seoul. The concert, which sold out immediately upon ticket release, showcased the group’s renowned dynamic performances and diverse stage presentations.
‘FESTA’ marked Purple Kiss’s inaugural fan concert since their debut in March 2021. Under the same name as their single released in September last year, the members curated a setlist featuring songs fans had been eager to hear, alongside new outfits specifically for this event. The concert was heightened with performances of their hit songs like ‘7HEAVEN’, ‘Sweet Juice’, ‘Ponzona’, ‘My Heart Skip a Beat’, and the addition of new pair dances to ‘Zombie’. They also displayed their versatile musicality with ballads like ‘Can We Talk Again’.
The concert featured unique unit stages, displaying varying charms. Ireh, Yuki, and Chaein performed Charlie Puth’s ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ and Saweetie & Galxara’s ‘Sway With Me’, while Na Go-eun, Dosie, and Swan sang ‘Light Switch’ by Charlie Puth and ‘Rain On Me’ by Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande, showcasing their vocal prowess and stage presence. The members were personally involved in song selection and part distribution for the concert. Besides performing a total of 19 songs, the group also engaged in a unit-based random dance battle, impressively executing high-difficulty choreography, including the ‘Smoke’ dance challenge. After the concert, they held a memorable high-touch event with each fan.
In closing, Purple Kiss expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards their fans, stating, “Starting 2024 with Florries (official fandom name) feels auspicious. We prepared diligently for our first fan concert, and seeing everyone enjoy makes us happy. Our performances are only complete with Florries. Thank you for the unforgettable memories. We promise to continue delivering great music and performances.”
