RIIZE, known as a ‘K-pop Top Tier’ group, is unveiling their first mini-album ‘RIIZING’ today. The full album will be available on various music sites from 6 PM, and the music video for the title track ‘Boom Boom Bass’ will be released simultaneously on YouTube’s SMTOWN channel and other platforms.
The title track ‘Boom Boom Bass’ features a funky disco beat and groovy bass lines. The lyrics depict the youthful excitement and freedom of expressing feelings through bass guitar performances. The song’s progression, characterized by its varying pitch, adds an enjoyable depth to the listening experience.
The music video tells a dynamic story of a quest for a legendary bass guitar. It showcases performances inspired by the heavy sound of the bass guitar, with controlled yet impactful dance moves, enhancing the song’s main concept and increasing the viewer’s immersion.
In addition to the title track, the album includes seven other tracks, such as ‘Siren,’ ‘Impossible,’ ‘9 Days,’ ‘Honestly,’ ‘One Kiss,’ ‘Talk Saxy,’ and ‘Love 119,’ all of which fall under the ’emotional pop’ genre and have been well-received in previews.
To celebrate the album release, RIIZE will hold a premiere event at 8 PM at the Mastercard Hall in Blue Square, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, where they will perform ‘Boom Boom Bass’ for the first time. This event will be livestreamed on RIIZE’s YouTube, TikTok, and Weverse channels.
