K-pop group SEVENTEEN has given a special gift to their fans, Carats. On the 12th, SEVENTEEN released a special video for the track “Diamond Days,” which is part of their mini 11th album, “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN.” “Diamond Days” samples their debut album’s track “Shining Diamond” and reinterprets it from their current standpoint, celebrating their success over the past eight years since their debut.
The special video features a diamond-shaped stage setup, with small LED screens placed throughout. These screens display footage from SEVENTEEN’s debut performance, creating a nostalgic atmosphere. “Diamond Days” holds sentimental significance for both the group and their fans, as they have journeyed together since the beginning of SEVENTEEN’s career. This special release marked the first live performance of “Diamond Days,” adding excitement for Carats.
SEVENTEEN recently achieved an impressive record by surpassing 5 million album sales within a week of the release of “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN.” The album also topped the charts, and the title track “Music’s New” reached number one on the Melon TOP100, making SEVENTEEN the first K-pop male group this year to achieve this feat.
In addition to their music career, SEVENTEEN will attend the 13th UNESCO Youth Forum in Paris on the 14th, where they will give a special session, including speeches and performances, for approximately one hour. The group will represent the “Global Youth Generation” at the forum, sharing their experiences and providing insights on the roles young people can play in achieving sustainable development.
