SEVENTEEN has reached the pinnacle of Japan’s major album charts with their best album ’17 IS RIGHT HERE’. According to the latest charts released by Oricon on May 1, the album topped the Oricon Daily Album Ranking for April 30 with sales of 255,797 copies.
On the same day, ’17 IS RIGHT HERE’ also secured the number one spot on Japan’s largest music site, Line Music’s Top 100 Album chart, and on Apple Music’s Top Albums chart. Additionally, the title track ‘MAESTRO’ dominated the K-pop genre on the Japanese iTunes music chart and soared to the top of Japan’s YouTube Trending Videos chart, further evidencing its widespread popularity in the country.
’17 IS RIGHT HERE’ is a comprehensive album that encapsulates SEVENTEEN’s past, present, and future. It includes four new songs including the title track and unit songs, along with 28 past title tracks that have highlighted SEVENTEEN’s career, and the instrumental track ‘Akinda (Inst.)’, making a total of 33 tracks.
Following this success, SEVENTEEN is set to accelerate the ‘MAESTRO’ craze with upcoming music show appearances, starting with Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on May 2.
