The Korea Tourism Organization organized a non-face-to-face online Hallyu content event aimed at tourists in the US and Europe region to continue their interest in Korean culture and tourism leading to future visits to Korea.
First of all, the Frankfurt branch held non-face-to-face events for those interested in Korean culture to enjoy K-pop and K-food among the MZ generation (a compound word of millennials and generation Z).
On the 14th, the first day of the event, an online cooking class was held in which 20 teams of German families participated.
In addition, Taekwondo performance team K-Tigers and non-verbal ‘Chef’ performances were conducted online, and a live talk show for Korean tourism, an online class for idol makeup and fashion, is scheduled to be held.
In the US, experiences of visiting Korea from Philip Rosenthal, the host of Netflix program ‘Somebody Feed Phil’ and Dali Newman, host of the PBS travel series ‘Travels with Darley’ is shared. Online fan meeting with K-pop star Ailee and the five-member male group CIX, and Woo Gwan monk’s temple food cooking show will also be held.
