“The most ENHYPEN-like album”… ‘flawless sword dance group’ that will follow BTS

ENHYPEN made a high-speed comeback in about 3 months after the release of their first full-length album. ENHYPEN has emerged as a ‘global K-pop rising star’ with the release of their first full-length album ‘DIMENSION: DILEMMA’ in October.

Sunwoo said, “I think that I have grown both personally and as a team while promoting our first full-length album. I want to show a lot of our growth through this activity.”

Jay said, “There were a lot of things I regretted while promoting the last full album. In this promotion, I will do my best to complement and show a good image in good condition.”

The title song ‘Blessed-Cursed’ is a HYBE lead hip-hop genre that combines hip-hop and 1970’s hard rock genres. It is a song that tells the story of boys who thought that the given conditions were blessings, realizing that everything was a curse.

It tells the story of boys who say they will take care of their lives and not meddle in any more.

“While the previous work was a refreshing concept, this ‘Blessed-Cursed’ contains a lot of intense and powerful images.” Jay said, “I think ‘Blessed-Cursed’ is a song that captures the feeling of ENHYPEN. If we showed a new side full of freshness in the last album, you can feel it’s like ENHYPEN this time. Like BTS, we wanted to bring a lot of synchronized dance moves, so we referenced them a lot. I hope that ENHYPEN will also become a group that is recognized for its synchronized dance move performance.” He added, “I think it would be good if we took the modifier of a flawless synchronized dance move as much as we worked hard.”

Prior to their comeback, ENHYPEN held two fan meetings in February and November of last year and met directly with their fans.

Ni-ki, Heeseung and Sunwoo said, “ENGENE gave me a lot of support, so we got good energy,” “We hope that the situation will improve and there will be more opportunities to perform in front of ENGENE,” and “I remember the last surprise event that ENGENE did.”

Jungwon also said, “I remember performing so happily on stage that I didn’t feel the hardship every time I performed. In particular, ENGENE spent the last year end of the year party together with our fans through a Weverse concert on December 31 last year. At the end, all the participating artists gathered and counted down to the New Year, and I remember it being fun because everyone responded well in a warm atmosphere like a family.”

Jake said, “When I first heard the news of the million seller, I thought of ENGENE the most. Thank you for your support and I will work harder in the future.”

Hee-seung said, “I talked about it last year, but I hope there will be many opportunities to perform and communicate in front of more ENGENE members this year. The goal is to perform on a stage full of shouts,” and Jungwon said, “Thankfully, ENGENE has earned the nickname of a global K-pop rising star. In order to repay this, I will work really hard and work even harder so that the term ‘Global K-Pop Rising Star’ fits well.”
