TOMORROW X TOGETHER, Fifth Top 5 Entry in the U.S. ‘Billboard 200’ with Their 6th Mini Album

TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), a leading fourth-generation K-pop boy group, has achieved its fifth top-five entry on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

According to a Billboard chart preview article dated April 14th, TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s sixth mini album “minisode 3: TOMORROW,” released on April 1st, has secured the third position on the Billboard 200 chart for the week of April 20th, with approximately 107,500 units sold.

The Billboard 200 ranking combines traditional album sales with streaming figures converted into album sales (SEA, or streaming equivalent albums) and digital song downloads converted into album sales (TEA, or track equivalent albums). For this week, “minisode 3: TOMORROW” achieved physical album sales of 103,500 units and SEA units of 4,000.

With this achievement, TOMORROW X TOGETHER has continued its impressive streak, following their previous top chart positions with their fifth mini album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” reaching number one and their third full album “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL” peaking at third place on the Billboard 200.

Their second full album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” reached fifth place, and their fourth mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” hit fourth place. Additionally, their third mini album “minisode 1: Blue Hour” achieved a peak position of 25th, contributing to a total of ten albums that the group has placed on the Billboard 200. This milestone makes TOMORROW X TOGETHER the second K-pop artist, following their label seniors BTS from Big Hit Music, to place ten or more albums on this prestigious chart.

This week, TOMORROW X TOGETHER faced stiff competition, contending against American pop superstar Beyoncé and hip-hop star J. Cole. Beyoncé’s eighth studio album “Cowboy Carter” topped the chart for the second consecutive week with 125,500 units sold, while J. Cole’s surprise release “Might Delete Later” debuted at second place with 115,000 units sold.
