Groups TWICE, Ive, and Le Sserafim will appear on NHK’s ‘Red and White Singing Contest’, a year-end special program representing Japan.
According to the published list, TWICE, Ive, and Le Sserafim were named in the lineup of performers for this year’s ‘Hongbaek Songjeon’.
Ive proved their popularity by confirming their appearance in the Red and White Singing Festival a month after their Japanese debut in October, and Le Sserafim showed off their spirit by joining the cast even before his official Japanese debut.
Ive, who attended the press conference for the ‘Red and White Singing Contest’ held that day, said, “It’s really like a dream to stand on the stage of the Red and White Singing Contest.”
Meanwhile, ‘Red and White Singing Contest’ is a year-end program aired on Japanese public broadcaster NHK on December 31 every year, and boasts a high popularity with an all-time high viewership rating of 81% and an average viewership rating of 40%.
