YG Entertainment’s new girl group, BABYMONSTER, continues to captivate global fans with individual teasers that closely capture each member’s unique charm. On the 26th, YG’s official blog featured ‘BABYMONSTER – ‘SHEESH’ TEASER | PHARITA’, introducing the sixth member, Pharita, whose deadly aura is particularly striking.
Pharita’s styling exudes charisma with a white-toned dress complemented by fur gloves and flashy accessories, while her restrained yet dynamic gestures and versatile facial expressions enhance the viewer’s engagement. The newly added synthesizer riff hints at the intense melody of ‘SHEESH’, leading music fans to speculate pleasantly about the song’s composition based on the gradually building sound. Interest is also growing for the teaser of the last member to be introduced, Rami, which may provide further clues.
BABYMONSTER is set to release their first mini-album [BABYMONS7ER] on April 1st at midnight. The title track ‘SHEESH’ is a hip-hop dance song featuring Baroque-style piano melodies and grandiose synthesizer sounds, showcasing BABYMONSTER’s bold ambition to astonish the world with their presence.
Marking the album’s release, BABYMONSTER plans to engage in vigorous activities, including music shows, broadcast appearances, and fan signing events to familiarize themselves with domestic fans. Additionally, they will embark on an Asian fan meeting tour covering five cities – Tokyo, Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei, and Bangkok – and participate in Japan’s largest music festival, ‘Summer Sonic 2024’, as part of their efforts to expand their global presence.
