Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is making their comeback today (1st) at 6 PM (KST) with the release of their 6th mini album ‘minisode 3: TOMORROW’ and the music video for the title track ‘Deja Vu’. This album draws on the theme of a future made together, embodying TXT’s narrative of hope and salvation as they embark on a journey to fulfill a past promise.
‘minisode 3: TOMORROW’ explores the story of remembering a past promise and seeking the promised ‘you’, reflecting TXT’s unique narrative of hope and salvation with the theme “tomorrow with you is hope and salvation.” Additionally, the album features seven tracks, including the unit songs ‘The Killa (I Belong to You)’ by Soobin and Yeonjun, which expresses a yearning for love beyond simple words, and ‘Quarter Life’ by Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai, conveying a resolve to persevere despite feeling trapped. An acoustic rendition of ‘Deja Vu (Anemoia Remix)’ enhances the album’s lyrical depth.
The storytelling meticulously built by TXT shines through in ‘Deja Vu’, highlighting the continuity with previous works using keywords such as ‘crown’, ‘eternity’, and ‘ruins’, and Morse code, evoking nostalgia for content that introduced the members at debut.
The title track ‘Deja Vu’ embodies TXT’s signature emotive depth, merging the sub-genre of trap, Rage, with Emo Rock in a pop style, venturing into the ‘Rage’ genre.
TXT will also host a comeback showcase at 8 PM on the 1st at the Hwajeong Gymnasium, Korea University, in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, further igniting anticipation for their latest musical chapter and the rich, emotive journey it promises.
