Aespa’s single ‘Supernova’ has achieved an impressive milestone by topping the Melon weekly chart for four consecutive weeks. The group’s double title track from their first full-length album has matched the record set earlier this year by IU’s ‘Love Wins All,’ marking the longest run at number one for a song released in 2024.
Additionally, ‘Supernova’ has dominated other charts as well, securing the number one spot on Bugs and Genie weekly charts for five and four consecutive weeks, respectively. Their other title track, ‘Armageddon,’ remains in the top 10 on major music charts, contributing to the group’s success with a total of 10 music show wins to date.
Released on May 27, Aespa’s first full-length album ‘Armageddon’ features 10 tracks of various genres, including the powerful double title tracks ‘Supernova’ and ‘Armageddon.’ The album has been praised for its well-crafted concept and cohesive world-building, earning recognition on global charts. It topped the integrated K-pop chart of five Tencent Music platforms in China and held the number one spot on QQ Music’s overall and Korean music video charts for five consecutive weeks.
Aespa is set to hold their second solo concert, ‘2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK : PARALLEL LINE -,’ on June 29-30 at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul, further solidifying their presence and connection with fans.
