The SBS drama “Our Beloved Summer” OST “Christmas Tree,” sung by V of the group BTS, entered the U.S. Billboard’s main single chart “Hot 100” for the first time among Korean drama OSTs. According to Billboard on the 5th (Korea Standard Time), V ranked 79th on the latest chart (the 8th) of the “Hot 100” with the “Christmas Tree” released on the 24th of last month. Along with this, it also topped the Billboard Top Selling Song chart. As a result, V became the third member to be listed as a solo on the Billboard single chart after BTS members J-Hope “Chicken Noodle Soup,” Suga “Daechwita” and “Girl of My Dreams.”
Earlier, V ranked second on the “Official Singles Sales Chart” and “Official Singles Download Chart” on the UK’s official chart, which is considered one of the world’s top two charts along with Billboard. This is the best record set by a Korean solo artist on the chart.
