The K-pop group ENHYPEN has achieved a consecutive Top 5 position on the US Billboard main album chart, ‘Billboard 200’, with their two albums.
According to a Billboard chart preview article dated 26th (local time), ENHYPEN’s mini 5th album ‘Orange Blood (ORANGE BLOOD)’, released on November 17, ranked 4th on the ‘Billboard 200’ chart dated December 2nd, with sales of approximately 90,000 copies. This achievement mirrors the ranking of their mini 4th album ‘Dark Blood (DARK BLOOD)’, released last May. Thus, ENHYPEN has entered the Top 5 of ‘Billboard 200’ for the second time.
The ‘Billboard 200’ ranking combines traditional album sales scores with Streaming Equivalent Albums (SEA) and Track Equivalent Albums (TEA), which are converted from streaming counts and digital song downloads to album sales, respectively. The physical album sales of ‘Orange Blood’ were about 87,000 copies, with SEA units at 3,000 and almost negligible TEA units.
ENHYPEN has placed a third album in the top 10 of ‘Billboard 200’. Their mini 3rd album ‘Manifesto: Day 1 (MANIFESTO: DAY 1)’ reached 6th place. Additionally, their mini 2nd album ‘Border: Carnival (BORDER: CARNIVAL)’ (18th place), their first full album ‘Dimension: Dilemma (DIMENSION: DILEMMA)’ (11th place), and the repackage of their first full album ‘Dimension: Answer (DIMENSION: ANSWER)’ (13th place) have also charted on ‘Billboard 200’, bringing the total to six albums.
In other news, ‘Stray Kids’, a rising K-pop boy group, maintained its presence in the top 10 for two consecutive weeks, with their mini 8th album ‘Rockstar (樂-STAR)’ ranking 7th on ‘Billboard 200’ this week, following their 1st place achievement last week.
