ENHYPEN has been honored with the Special International Music Award at the 65th Japan Record Awards. According to the Japan Record Awards on the 22nd, ENHYPEN was selected as the recipient of the Special International Music Award at the “65th Shining! Japan Record Awards.” This achievement makes ENHYPEN the artist who received the award in the shortest period (3 years) after their debut among all the past recipients of this category.
ENHYPEN expressed their gratitude for this prestigious award, stating, “We are deeply moved to receive the Special International Music Award at the Japan Record Awards. The Japan Record Awards is a music awards ceremony organized by the Japan Composers’ Association and is one of the most longstanding and prestigious music awards in Japan, dating back to 1959. The awards ceremony is broadcast live on TBS every December 30th.
In addition to this accolade, ENHYPEN’s mini 5th album ‘ORANGE BLOOD’ achieved impressive sales, securing the top spot on the daily album ranking with 159,554 copies sold. The album recorded 1.38 million copies in sales on its release day, surpassing the first-week sales of their previous mini 4th album ‘DARK BLOOD’ in just one day.
