RM Releases ‘Groin’ MV from Solo 2nd Album, Capturing the Free-Spirited London Vibe

BTS’s RM has unveiled the music video for ‘Groin’, a track from his second solo album ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’.

‘Groin’ is an alternative hip-hop song that candidly expresses what RM wants to say to people he dislikes. The music video, released on May 28 at midnight KST via HYBE Labels’ channel, was filmed on the streets of London, UK. RM appears in a raw and liberated manner, delivering powerful rapping that matches the song’s gritty atmosphere. The video captivates with RM’s natural charm, gestures, facial expressions, and sophisticated editing, eschewing flashy special effects.

The music video was directed by Japanese filmmaker Pennacky, who previously worked with RM on Balming Tiger’s ‘Sexy Nukim (feat. RM of BTS)’. Pennacky shared, “I wanted to capture RM as he is. Rather than crafting a detailed synopsis, we completed the video through real-time conversations with RM and the crew during the shoot. This approach allowed us to capture more spontaneous and interesting visuals, resulting in a more natural music video.”

RM released ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’ globally on May 24 at 1 PM KST. The album quickly soared to the top of the ‘Worldwide iTunes Album’ and ‘European iTunes Album’ charts, maintaining the number one position for three consecutive days, demonstrating its global popularity.
