TXT Unveils Snippet of New Song ‘Deja Vu’, Linking to Previous Works and Stimulating Interest

Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has shared a snippet of their upcoming song ‘Deja Vu’, captivating fans with a glimpse into the lyrics that connect with their past songs, further enhancing their storytelling prowess. Released at midnight on the 28th through the group’s official SNS, the snippet for the title track from their 6th mini album ‘minisode 3: TOMORROW’ features an old-film aesthetic, resonating with romantic analog vibes.

The snippet intertwines illustrations reminiscent of their previous works with the lyrics of ‘Deja Vu’, showcasing TXT’s meticulous narrative construction. Lyrics like “in front of our dust-laden crown” echo their debut song ‘CROWN’, with the ‘crown’ being a significant symbol from their debut. Further lyrics “be my forever / call out to me” and “you and I among the ruins” link back to their songs ‘9 and Three Quarters (Run Away)’ from ‘The Dream Chapter: MAGIC’, and ‘Can’t You See Me?’ from ‘The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY’, respectively.

Scenes from the music video for ‘LO$ER=LO♡ER’ from the repackaged album ‘The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE’, and the ending scene of the concept trailer for ‘The Name Chapter’, featuring keywords like ‘escape’ and ‘fall’, hint at the continuity of ‘Deja Vu’ with their previous works.

‘Deja Vu’ speaks to the promise of reuniting with a loved one, feeling like a ‘déjà vu’ at the moment of reunion, blending longing and euphoria. The song is further enriched by the participation of Big Hit Music’s General Producer Bang Si-hyuk, Slow Rabbit, and Supreme Boi, elevating TXT’s refined sound to new heights.

‘minisode 3: TOMORROW’, set for release on the 1st of next month at 6 PM, encapsulates TXT’s narrative journey towards hope and salvation, with a storyline of remembering a past promise and seeking the promised ‘you’.

Additionally, TXT will open a pop-up event, ‘TOMORROW X TOGETHER ‘minisode 3: TOMORROW’ POP-UP’, on the 3rd of next month at the Lotte World Mall Atrium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the new album’s release. The pop-up will feature an exhibition replicating the concept photos’ backgrounds, photo zones, and official merchandise related to the new album.
